For Readers/Users

Account Registration

To access our library, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Subscription and Payment

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • Payments are processed through mobile money services
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We reserve the right to change subscription fees with 30 days' notice

Content Usage

  • You may access content for personal, non-commercial use only
  • You may not download, copy, or distribute any content

User Conduct

For Authors

Author Registration

To publish content on Dynetch Library, you must register as an author and provide accurate information about your identity and qualifications.

Content Submission

  • You must own or have necessary rights to all content you submit
  • You grant Dynetch Library a non-exclusive license to distribute your content
  • You retain copyright to your submitted works
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on others' rights

Royalty Payments

  • Royalties are calculated based on reader engagement metrics
  • Payments are distributed monthly, 30 days after the end of each calendar month
  • We reserve 40% of subscription revenue for platform maintenance and development
  • 60% of subscription revenue is distributed to authors based on the royalty calculation formula
  • Minimum payout threshold is $50. Amounts below this will roll over to the next payment cycle

Royalty Calculation

Author royalties are calculated using a two-part system:

  1. Time-Decay Share (40% of author pool): Rewards long-term value of content
    • Current Month Views (VCM): 1.0 point per view
    • Current Year Views (VCY): 0.5 points per view
    • Previous Years Views (VPY): 0.1 points per view
  2. Engagement Share (60% of author pool): Rewards recent reader engagement
    • Monthly Views (M_V): 0.5 points per view
    • Returning Viewers (RV): 2.0 points per returning viewer
    • New Readers (NR): 1.0 point per new reader

Final Share = (Time-Decay Share × 40%) + (Engagement Share × 60%)

Content Guidelines

Authors must ensure their content:

  • Is original and does not infringe copyright
  • Is accurate and educational in nature
  • Does not contain hate speech, pornography, or illegal material
  • Complies with our content quality standards

Termination

We reserve the right to remove content or terminate author accounts for violation of these terms, with any outstanding royalties paid within 60 days of termination.

Intellectual Property

All content on Dynetch Library, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Dynetch Library or its content providers and protected by copyright laws.

Limitation of Liability

Dynetch Library shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the service or by email.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Cameroon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
